Meet your midwife

Hey, I’m Nikkayla!

I’m an Endorsed Midwife, Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Baby-Led Sleep Consultant. I’m also a wife and mum to one.

Milky Dreams has grown to be a full spectrum of care, starting from pregnancy all the way through to early parenthood. Giving you the strength and support you need to birth and mother your baby, your way.

Continuity of midwifery carer is ‘gold standard’. It’s about connecting with each other, care that is personalised to you, time to talk and support and the same familiar face all the way through to 6 weeks post birth.

I strongly believe that it is your choice where and how you grow, birth and nurture your baby. There is no one size fits all care, I’m here to empower you to make informed choices that are right for your family.

It’s about autonomy, respect and trust.

A nurturing approach

My approach to sleep and lactation support is attachment focused. I will also investigate any underlying causes of your baby or child’s sleep disturbance so that these can be addressed, so I also take an evidence based approach.
